There are many abbreviations used in our industry and we will explain these in full, such as LTV – Loan to Value. That’s the amount of money you can borrow against the value of your house. The lower the LTV (Loan to Value) generally the better deal you can get.

There may be circumstances which don’t allow you to re-mortgage with another lender and you could be eligible for a product switch with your current lender. We can arrange this for you and it is a relatively simple process.

You only continue to own your own home with a lifetime mortgage. Equity release may impact the size of your estate and it could affect your entitlement to current and future means-tested benefits.

How We Operate

We are independent and act on your behalf. We will provide you with a Terms of Business Letter (Example on the website) which is tailored to you and will take in to consideration the work we are preparing to do for you. It is also important that you have read and accepted this prior to any data being collected as it also covers GDPR and allows us to gather and hold data on your behalf. It also confirms how we will be remunerated for the work we are doing for you.

We will then gather your information via a fact find where we will be able to advise you accordingly based on your current circumstances, needs and affordability. We have the facility to invite you via our secure portal to complete this data in your own time.
You will be sent an email with a web link and a text message with a 6-digit code needed to set up the Portal with your own password. The portal is used to transfer important documentation to you in a secure environment. You can also use it to upload documents relative to the business we are transacting with you. Electronic signatures can be accepted saving unnecessary paperwork.

Our back-office system called 360 enables the data we collect to integrate with product providers making life easy and streamlined.
